Proverbs 1:7

When you fear the Lord– you will get true understanding, rather than the “knowledge” the world teaches you. People hate the Bible because they don’t understand it, and because it actually requires them to change their lives.

Proverbs 2:7-8

God will protect us on our journey through life; as long as we live according to His will. But first we need to be upright, blameless, and just. Which means living out the scriptures, and holding on to Jesus’ teachings. Then he will become an impenetrable shield for us as we continue fighting the spiritual battle. True success in this life is getting people’s souls saved.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Surrendering to free will instead of God’s will is the biggest mistake most of us fall victim to. Free will should actually be called Chained will. Because it chains us to our sinful minds, and prevents us from following God. When we follow God’s will we stay on the narrow road, but when we follow free will we stay on the broad road. Free will is 100% Satan’s way of getting you to surrender to anything but God’s plan and purpose. God’s promise is your salvation. Knowing that you will have a hope and a future.

Proverbs 4:4-6

When you understand that the love of God comes from a place of wisdom, you will realize that love in itself is wisdom. That same wisdom will show you God’s love by protecting you. The Bible is a love letter from God, so Wisdom is understanding God’s Love.

Proverbs 5:11-13

We as people are not naturally inclined to having discipline, which is why our parents had to discipline us as a child. By the same token– the Spirit has to discipline us as baby Christians, and even as we are growing older. Getting corrections from our leaders takes an ear to hear the truth, and if you can choose to learn from them as teachers of discipline, then you will truly learn how to see the truth in the Bible as well as hear it from God!

Proverbs 6:5

The hunter represents Satan wanting to hunt you down. So remember to have your time with God, so that you can free yourself from the snare of Satan.

Proverbs 7:2-4

This is God telling us that we should bind wisdom to our actions, by doing things that actually pleases Him. And then guard our hearts by allowing the scriptures to shape us.
