Evangelize all Nations

Today’s service (07/11/2021) was a special one, because since last summer with the arrival of the supplemental team from San Fransisco, we’ve been hard at work. Since that time– we have grown tremendously as a church. From having multiple baptisms, to new Bible Talks, the numbers have grown. This is proof of our faith (Luke 6:43).

Now the only thing left to do is to continue spreading the message (Matthew 28:18-20). Which is exactly what happened today with the send off of– the Houston Six; being led by the newly appointed Evangelist and Women’s Ministry Leader: Tyler & Tahlia Jongsma. Then there’s Olympia Argueta who is also moving, but not to Houston, instead she’s moving back to South America.

Our hearts rejoiced at the fact that God’s work was being done, but saddened at the same time, because our dearly beloved brothers and sisters were departing soon. There were many exciting things happening in today’s service as well. A lot of certificates got handed out to a number of disciples for completing summer boot camp. Then our hearts were deeply touched with the good news from GNN.

Tyler preached his last sermon today at the DFWICC, and it was incredible. He urged us to remember what’s most important in our lives as disciples. Which is spending quality time with God. If we do then our hearts will be moved to care for the church. It’s God’s sanctuary (Psalms 27:1-5).
